The Busy Person’s Advantage With Meditation

Hustle and bustle in city life comes with its challenges. With only 24 hours a day we can pretty much say in general that life would be broken down to raising a family, pursuit of career development, health issues, raising kids and meeting with the collective needs of friends, family and boss. We here the same mantra being repeated verbally with conversations we have with people. That mantra is that "There is not enough time". Well if that is your thought then guess what? You're wrong!

A busy person with it many synonyms used as achiever, busy person, dynamo, energetic person, man of action, motivator, mover and shaker, risk-taker, woman of action comes carries with it the seed of stress and burnout. This pressure fuels the economy, it propels and influence the behaviour of humans as a whole. Money therefore would be the means in which we trade our time for cash. Other people are chasing in on your time. The point is, here are 3 qualities you cultivate with meditation.

1. Curiosity

Your curiosity explores life's most fascinating mystery. Look at a child eyes and you can discover the wonderment, awe and curiosity that stems from fearlessness. Curiosity is never idle, it encourages you to seek better ways to live and is vital to meditation. It allows you to ask why? and it is the very why that unravel some of life greatest mystery. It is the very question that can ignite a sleeping giant in you.

2. Flexibility

Globalization as transformed the world, this constant flux is the very momentum that is evolving at a rapid pace. The need to keep p with the speed takes tremendous toll on the mind and body. This is why great teachers before us have always pointed that in the movement there lies the stillness that we all seek. It is this stillness that is the very fabric of all existence. This existence have stood the test of time. The access of this timeless dimension is our birthright if we only choose. Being flexible is not about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain! Ultimately this is the dance of life, and you learn watch the dance, using the swirling events, demands and circumstances and a contrast to that which remains in the present moment.

3. Resilient

Fortitude gives you the power to withstand the prevailing winds. Only if you have built a strong foundation. Your full-time job, hobbies, social life and maintaining significant relationships requires a great deal of stamina. It takes a lot of energy to work on all this areas especially when you feel fatigues, distracted or frustrated. This is where the rubber meets the road. You will have to practice the fundamentals during this change.

Hiding in the cave and meditating serves no purpose, unless of course if that is your destiny. But for the most part, your purpose in life is significant in the overall progression of the planet. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
